And no, its not because I got in trouble (as Ben thought). Its because, if I designed it to look good on my current setup, most people would hate me (and I would hate myself once I got home). Anyway, I got an upgrade to my monitor setup yesterday here at work. I was previously running 3 NEC 19" flat panels (yes, I said 3 ). Now, I am running 2 NEC 19" and 1 NEC 24" widescreen (1900x1200). Let me tell you this thing is awesome! Well, the whole setup is just sweet as hell in general. Sometimes I love being the guinea pig here at work to try out "new" technologies that we may in the future expand to more staff.
For those that don't know, and wonder what the hell I do that I need 3 monitors for... I am an electrical designer for an Architectural/Engineering firm, so I work in AutoCAD usually 75% of the time. Having multiple screens allows me (most staff currently have at least 2 19" monitors) to be drawing in 1 screen and have spreadsheets open in another, and be able to coordinate between the 2.
But yeah, I think alot of people would be pissed if I started making the site ideal at 1900x1200.
