try FE7 on a GTZ, much different, well actually, totally different, since nothing is the same, ha ha ha. The stock FE7 GTZ's are more nuetrally balanced then the others, if you add the Z51 bar, you can get the car to rotate under braking pretty easy, you get some 3 wheel action at autox as well.

      How does a brick handle?
like a 72 cornet or something.

i am with luminaz34VA. my previous car was a gta t/a. all i done to it suspension wise was new bushings, subframe connectors, new panhard bar(which made the most difference) and some michelin pilot zx something or another. and that car was glued to the road. my z on the other hand has trouble with an onramp over 45. of course i haven't done anything suspension wise to the car either.

other than the michelins the other 3 suspension mods were cheap. so any fbody owners out there get a new panhard bar. about $105 plus shipping and installs in about 10 minutes. and u will notice the difference in the rear suspension, it will feel stiffer and roll alot less.

I see, never knew the L body got a suspension coded FE7. Sounds fun though!

Yeah, for a few years (90-93) GM scattered FE7 throughout a few of the L and N body cars..

Funny thing, FE7 is actually softer in the front, but it feels great!

well, softer in front and stiffer in the rear is what does it, the softer the front in relation to the rear is what makes the car give more traction to the front wheels and let the rear wheels loose. you have to be careful because when your struts start to go this becomes even more dramatic, i've spun my car before because of this such situation before.
