Hey everyone seeing my engine isn't a dual over head cam I will have to post this in here!!!

I was wondering if anyone in here might know how thick a head gasket for the engine noted above would be uncommpressed? Also any good site for info about this!

Also if anyone happens to know where I would be able to find Copper head gaskets that would be great!

uncompressed the stocker is about .070 thick. compressed its .060.

for copper head gaskets try SCE http://www.scegaskets.com/index.html

    or www.headgasket.com

will likely be a custom made one but thats where to start looking.

          Why copper?

Because you can get them cut to whatever size you need. High HP handling is side effect.
          It\'s ugly, and turbocharged!
264 HP and 284 ft/lbs at the wheels(@9psi), power curve like none other!
And the transaxle to get it to the ground!

Not to mention that you can reuse them up to I think 5 times before you have to replace them!

I dunno.... I agree, why copper. Yeah thay can be reused a few times before having to get new ones. I'd be looking more into the steel head gaskets. I know 2 guys with supras running these gaskets pushing 28psi and havent had a problem yet they claim. And the kool thing is that they can double them up to lower compression or remove a few to up it. They to have an iron block and aluminum head set-up. Anyone know what kind of steel these are. I'll have to look into these to find out. I can order shim stock from .005 to .050 thick, so this wouldnt be that difficult in my opinion.
