  • Driving without a hood

Is it illegal to drive a car without a hood (in OR)? My friend (from WA) seemed to think so. The police were out in force today, and I had to take my project to the exhaust shop. The rig is licensed and insured so I didn't think twice about driving it, but I didn't bother putting the hood back on (had quite the exhaust leak too). Passed right by a police car on the way, maybe he had other priorities.

Technically, it is illegal to drive without a hood. But, there are far greater problems out there.

What are we looking at here? What is that SC, where did you get it, and how much?

Oh, I have a tax return that I'll be wanting to spend. Gotta stimulate the economy and all that. (or maybe it's time I take a vacation)
