that's harsh man, very, very harsh. I've dealt with a couple gf's dads in the last couple years(i'm 19) and one was a bit harsh but not that bad. He liked me after a couple months lol....

Nobody knows guys better than other guys. We all know what's going on. I've gotten a lot of flack from fathers myself.

most dads dont mind me to much, just try and be presentable and respectful and not dress like i do when im at work and it usually goes over well if only my gf's dad knew....

For safety sake the late 90's impalas are realy nice my mom had one as a company car, and she just stopped in a traffic jam and got ass packed by a TBI extended cab chevy truck doing about 70mph. she had a little bit of medical problems nothins serious, but she drove the car back home in san antonio tx from austin tx (for those who are unfamiliar with the area its about an hour and a half drive) and the truck's front passenger suspension was ripped off and hell the impala's taill lights still worked.

i absolutely agree with you there. I've been that way with the families of my gf's. If you can't hang with the older bro's/dads/overprotective cousins/etc then you're not enough of a man to be with a woman. unless they're all convicted ex-felons. then it's understandable

that said i've always gotten along great with the guys in the gf's families. I'm personable haha

It's not the convicted ex-felons you got to worry about. They are usually not that smart or else they would not have been cought. It's those that know how to get away with it you have to worry about.

Well I've decided to keep looking for a car. Can't seem to sell myself on the Sunbird. I found a 54? chey 4 door sedan that has caught my eye. Also found a 65 Chrysler 300 that would be the SH!t if the old fella wasn't such an a$$ about the price. She keeps leaning toward a VW Beetle. Dumb kids don't know how to appreciate a classic.
