Its on a donut too. I dunno, could be injector(s), vacuum leak, fuel pump or regulator.

i doubt it would be a fuel pump as it wouldn't start period after a few goes...

asked him so questions so we'll see, interior is prolly trashed....

Could be vacuum, it could be the IAC, it could be an injector problem, but if he used a BOSCH O2 sensor, that is most likely the problem.

an o2 sensor alone shouldn't kill it though... i guess its possible, i dont know much about early gm computer systems.....

Bad O2 sensor kept killing my 1990 STE. But it only killed it when it was warmed up. Once I hit closed loop, it stalled, and would not restart until it had cooled down some.

A fuel pump that is going out may still have pressure but no flow. Had that happen on my 3.1.

well its either that or this-

i love that body style and ive always wanted one, this one looks well kept from the pictures, my guess is the last owner has been the only one to really miss upkeep, the interior looks decent for the years except for the drivers seat which obviously has a cover indicating its worn, which at that age with the bolsters they came with its no suprise

atleast this one runs..... who knows, just called and left a message so we'll see!!

Not a big fan of BMW's myself, but a seat cover does not always mean that the seat is worn. Maybe they want to PROTECT them. My mother put seat covers on her new 2006 Dakota (leather seats). She wants them to STAY new looking.

guy with the cutlass says it stalls when put into gear.... any ideas? bimmer boy hasn't called me back yet so its between the daytona or $500 less for the cutlass which needs atleast $300 in it for new tires and prolly more....

$500 for the Bimmer sounds cheap. Just got an 86 E30 for my wife a few mos ago. 75k miles and MINT for $3500...

It's a 5 speed and it's a peppy little I6, and drifts nice with the IRS Don't tell the wife.

As much as I love Cutlass's, and would hate to see one die, I'd have to say pass on that one. A turbo dodge would be SUPER cool.
