  • 3.8 Firebird vs 3.4 Firebird

Despite driven both 3.4 and 3.8 Camaros(including my own 3.4), I've always wondered how these 2 cars would compare side by side, and someone FINALLY made a video of it. It doesn't say anything about mods or transmission though. Not too bad of a race though.

    Fail?

Well, I thought it was interesting because after I owned my 3.4 Camaro for a few months, I had considered selling it and buying a 3.8 because it had a "mighty" 40 more hp that people on FBody forums were saying and blah blah blah. I didn't know what an extra 40hp would feel like at the time. I test drove 2 3.8s, an auto and a manual, and I swear on my life that any type of acceleration below 70mph felt pretty much the same as it did in my 3.4. I'm just glad I've been able to have that experience. Honestly, I would much rather do a 3500 top end swap.
