  • Check this port job out!!!

    http://www.centroidcnc.com/cncvideo/...o_porting.html

I was browsing for a digitizing upgrade for the CNC machines that would allow duplicating a hand or machine made part and stumbled across this head porting station. Makes the machines at our shop look like dinosaurs

That looks like what I would need. My digitizer is called my finger. Almost as important as my eyes for porting:P

Does the dynomation software account for size/shape of chambers and ports etc? It would be interesting to play with design without haveing to do real-life tests.

I was just looking for a way to increse chambers a little and be able to re-produce them easily, but could you imagine the endless possablities of having a probe? Flanges, heads, manifolds, pulleys etc would all be far easier to re-create with a device like that. I just wish they made one that worked with older controllers.

I just found the same probe and contoller package for $6k, it would replace the current entire Fanuc controller on the machine now. Too bad we cleaned out the bank accounts buying the machines we have

No, it goes by runner opening dimension, the smallest area inside the head, and length.
