  • Linux Users?

I'm looking at building a test box and was looking at running Linux on it. Does anyone have any suggestions on which version to use? I was looking into Fedora 7.0, but wasn't sure if there was something better out there.

I'm basically just thinking of using it to set-up a mock webserver, running MySQL, PHP and Apache. I doubt I will use it for much more than that, so I'm not looking for any real applications or such. Just figured there was someone out there that might have some insight or recommendations.

i've been running Slackware on my webserver for a few years, i've also got a slackware desktop box.. i haven't used it in almost a year though

Never any real problems, had almost 300 days uptime till the power went out longer than my UPS could hang on.
