  • My GP will soon be up for sale :(

Yeah, you read it right. It's gotten to the point where I drive it once a week if I'm lucky. After 7 years, I've done just about everything I've wanted to with this car, now I think it's time for someone else to pick up where I left off. I won't be selling it right away. I have one more gathering to go to and one more drag racing event at the end of October where I hope to finally run a 14.5. But after that, it's up for sale.

When I do sell it, I'm not just selling the car. I'll be including every spare part and vehicle specific tool I have, including my tuning software. I don't own any other GM cars and don't plan to in the distant future, so I'm going to throw in everything, including those 18" wheels I have that I haven't been able to sell. I have a rough idea of how much I want to get for everything, I have to go through it all first to make a final determination. But before I go to Ebay I thought I'd let you guys know first. I'd much rather it wind up in the hands of an enthusiast who knows how rare it is and will take good care of it.

If you've got any questions, reply to this or PM me if you want. It'll be almost 5 weeks before it will be available so plenty of time to think about it.
I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

So much for being an admin... :P

Just kidding. If you are willing to stick around and share your knowledge, I will be more than happy to let you help out. But its up to you. Sorry to see it go, but I agree with you on one point. I hope someone on here sees a great potential and picks up where you left off.

Yeah, I'll defniitely stick around. I still got a lot of friends here. And I do want to build another GM car someday, but it probably won't have a V6, more like as LS motor. The car is rare because it has the DOHC V6 and a 5 speed transmission, and GM only made 57 Grand Prix sedans like it, and only a couple thousand 5 speed Grand Prix with the DOHC V6 altogether.
