Ok this guy at my work was talking all kinds of shit today, He tryed to tell me that he knows a guy that has a 1995 Grand Prix GTP and it has a 3.8V6 and it came like that from the dealer and that it was special order like that!!! ne EVER hear ne thing about that, also he told me that they made cavailer and breatta's that were avail. in a Z34 yes, Z34 .. and that it was a specail production car that not many were made and that it also came with a 3.8V6... ne one ever see one of these befor .. i think not.. then the jack ass told me you can take a older c5 vette rear end and it bolt right up to a breatta and u use a 94 Z28 cradle and it also will bolt right up to a breatta no cutting or nothing he said the only thing you have to do is get a drive shaft made....Right....... I reallllly think this guy is on crack, he also tryed telling me that my 93 gtp has two 02 sensors on in the rear man, and one befor the cat......ummmm no and even if it did have 2 02's would the 2 one be behind the car to measure catalist he said, he said no im 100% sure it would be befor the cat....... Kind of difficult to read, but it sure was funny. Tell him ford made a 3400SFI and it has LIMG issues. I bet he agrees!

Well, I can prove the C5 rear-end on a Beretta is not a "no-cutting" thing:

As far as the Cavy and Beretta, there was a Z24 Cav (J-body) and a Z26 Beretta (L-body), but the only Z34 is in the W-body.

and a cavalier never came with a 90 degree v6, it was too large for the engine bay (even though it has been done), same deal with the retta. cavalier was a z24, beretta was a gtz or z26, the lumina and monte were z34s.

tell him a 3400 and ford 4.0l are the same platform because they are both 60 degree v6 motors.

I suppose with enough money you can get the dealer to do anything.

I have a friend that had a 1993-1994 Ford Ranger SPLASH (single cab with the flare side bed) that came from ford with a 5.0. I didn't believe it myself until I opened the hood. It was a high end ranger and when she had bought it new, the dealer had special ordered it for a guy, but when he went to pick it up, he decided he needed a bigger truck, and immediatly traded it in for a new F150, or something like that.

That was the truck I learned how to drive stick in, and it had a lot of balls for such a small truck. I have never seen another one like it. She regrets selling it.

i hear about shops replacing the f-body double drive shafts w/old vette single drive shafts..............there was one guy that some friends went to school with that had a 92 cavi that was riced. i pulled in to the station and made a compliment on my beretta z34..............so i glanced at his car, shead a tear on the inside and did not correct him.

Dude I know exactly where you are coming from...

This guy Ryan I worked with at my last job was the biggest bullshitter. He tried to tell me used to own a GSXR that was modified to do 250MPH. I said "Yea right your full of shit you mean 250KPH" and then he replied "NO MPH" I just walked away I couldn't reply to such crap. First of all this guy doesn't have a bike license, second hes a fat ass and even if the bike was modded it wouldn't have the guts to move his 260LB ass.

Wait until you hear about his car. He has a turbocharged Mazda rotary engine in his 95VW Golf which mated to the stock 5 speed. Let me tell you this thing had 300HP and all bells and whistles. So when I asked him what happened to the engine (because he was currently driving a 95 Golf with a 1.8L) he said he crashed it because it was so fast and decided to have his mechanic take the motor out.

The one about his truck was just as good. He was telling me about this Colorado he was going to get. It was 4X4 loaded with leather and the off road package 5cyl, 5 speed manual. So I'm like sweet can't wait to see it (wasen't actually expecting to see anything). So when he shows up he has a red one with the base option package. Basically the cheapest one the dealer had. He tells me they sold the black one on it even thought he had a $500 deposit on it. LOL BULLSHIT a dealer wont jeopardize a sale like that.

I could go on for days. Me and my Foreman used to sit around and just bullshit about how big of a bullshitter this guy was. We couldn't wait to hear the next story.

You guys should tell these BS'ers that I have some ocean front property in Az. for sale for cheap. And if they buy within the next 30 days, I'll throw the golden gate bridge in for free. Limited time offer so they need to act NOW!!! ROFLMAO!!!!
Tuning a car is full of compromises. You must decide if you are willing to give up either reliability, performance, or a whole load of cash. Also remember that repairs will seem to come up much more often as you strive for even more performance
