I second that motion. I am living proof of that. Just look at what sitting had done to not only my 1988 Cutlass Supreme, but to my 1990 Grand Prix STE as well. Because I let them sit so long, I have basically DOUBLED the ammount of work that I need to do to them.

Yes only if it is a good spare. This engine was "rebuilt" clearly it was not worth rebuilding. Oh well now I have spare parts to get powder coated. Crank was in spec. I measure that, got a new engle cam which I'm undecided if I will use or not, new lifters, gaskets up the wazzo, bearings which in my opinion are junk since they were all tore up from being put in a dirty motor, new hv oil pump. That is about all this engine is good for. That and another set of turbo parts for the 'booprix" thats what I'm nicknaming this project! Here is an example:

Nice hone job too. I sent these pictures to the seller and told him I wanted a partial refund since I drove 1200 miles to get this junk. He sent me a spec 3 clutch which I was going to buy off him for free. At least I got something for my troubles.

Well you know me. I would've drove out there even if we werent geting anything
2.8W Firing every cylinder on time, buttery 60 V6 notes out the back.....And a drive that only a precisley calabrated FE3 Wbody can give....esspecially at 75-80. Granny Fresh was one lucky broad in '88.....Slamming those gears, Dropping the the 2.8 liter Hammer sending the front tires ablaze...That's driving excitement..
