how to fix gm window motor??

I got 2 window motors that seem to be goin bad. They get slower every year and now one motor gets stuck about halfway up...what to do?

Sounds like the connector to the motor got corroded, reducing power to it. Cleaning them out and filling them with dielectric grease helps prevent it from happening again. You can also make sure the motor itself is working by taking a 12v-14.4v cordless drill battery and run some wires from it to the motor. Reversing the polarity changes the direction.

ACDelco's power window motors are very prone to moisture so if you have to replace one go with an aftermarket one like Dorman's.
