  • The Dumbest Guy On Earth!

    84 Lumber customer

My Friends, I give you " THE DUMBEST GUY ON EARTH!"

This picture is real - not doctored in any way - and was taken by a Transportation Supervisor for a company that d eliver s building materials for 84 Lumber. When he saw it in the parking lot of IHOP, he went to buy a camera to take pictures.

The car is s till r u nning, as can be witnessed by the exhaust.

The driver was found crouched behind the rear of the car, attempting to cut the twine around the load! Luckily, the police stopped him and had the load removed.

The materials were loaded at Home Depot. Their store manager said they made the customer sign a waiver.

While the plywood and 2X4's are fairly obvious, what you can't see is the back seat, which contains ( are you ready for this?) 10 bags of concrete @ 80 lbs. each.

They estimated the load weight at 3000 lbs. Both back tires exploded, the wheels bent and the rear shocks were driven through the floorboard.
    And these people VOTE!

I see this all the time as I am a contractor. I LOVE IT!!! Some people are Sofa King We Todd Did! I can't tell you how many times I have seen a Miata or Corvette convertable trying to load a bundle of 2x4's (12' long or something rediculous) into their car.

That pic is so old, but I still crack up every time I see it.

On a similar note, I recently fit 12 8ft-2x4s, 16 8ft-2x2s and 2 4x8 sheets of OSB (cut in thirds) into the back of my Alero. The Blazer is currently at my in-laws waiting to be sold... (maybe)

I didn't expect to see that happen to a jetta. I was expecting more of a 91 se GP with a pink interior.

I would have to put some hood scoops on a 91 GPSE in order to handle that kind of load.

I've got just the CAI to do that! Boost guage in the N/A car helps, too. Some guys still like vacuum, instead of a blow.

i got 2 6' bookshelves into my 1988 Cutlass Supreme. They were both in the box disassembles. I laid down the passenger seat, and had them going up into the rear speaker deck. Quite a nice fit, actually.

Those would kinda help, but you cant forget the stickers. Some will give you like 25 hp.
