Even more to it now. I was needing a place to store some things, so my mom (who I get along with most of the times, by the way) told me to put it in her storage building that she is renting.

    Well

She asked my STEPDAD to drop off the payment for the money, and he "forgot". They now have it locked up, and I can't get anything out of it. I have almost all of my spare parts, and some of my tools, as well as my home theater, my DVD player, 2 game systems, and a laptop computer in there.

Mom told me I can check again on MONDAY seeing that the owner will not go out there to unlock it on the weekend. By the way, the owner got the payment, and it came out of moms account on WEDNESDAY, so why is the lock still on the door?

I needed to get my spare MAP sensors out of there. I think that is all I need to put my STE on the road again, and now I have to wait til MONDAY.

I just have to keep repeating my matra :

    na leatha geal m'oige.

inner peace now, and make them suffer later.

my mom tried to cart out those car parts i'm selling here by way of a scrapper..he would have hit the goldmine since the headers alone are worth more than what i'm selling them for. then you can't forget the fact that i found my TOOLS in the junk pile she wanted the scrapper to haul off.

people that don't know cars certainly think any parts of them that aren't directly attached are junk and treat them as such, which is a damn shame..

payback is a bitch -> Put their cars up bricks, pulls the wheels off, and the push as hard as you can

My stepdad isn't a whoel lot better. he knows better than to fuck with my stuff usually, but a while back he "cleaned" the garage out the threw out my new in box tranny mount and my spare good wheel bearing. Assholes. People just dont understand what it is to respect other peoples property.....

Finally got the car back up. Weather has been bad, and I was worried about flooding. I wanted the car up for that JUST IN CASE.

Weather has not been cooperating, and I have been feeling sick.

          pics

Funny thing was, when I was jacking up the drivers side, the back of the car was wanting to lift higher than the front. I think that was because the passenger side front was even lower than the drivers side. I had to lift the drivers side first. I could not get the jack under the passenger side.

Here you can see the drivers side back to normal. I just put the wheel back on it seeing that I left the axle in that side.

The passenger side was even lower, and I had to jack it back up further from the back. I did not have anything to get under it, so I ended up having to support the subframe with one of my twin cam heads. With the head under there, I could finally get my jack under it. Finally got some use out of that damn 3.4 DOHC.

After I got the car jacked back up, I just used a log to hold the weigt. I can't put the wheel on this side because the HUB, and AXLE are still out of it. This will work for now.

Finally, the car is level again.

If the weather is still good, I will do some more tomorrow. I STILL need to do the steering rack.

well... found out that dad has been JEALOUS. He did not like his truck because everyone else has something newer..... Except for me. My 3 cars were 1988 (gold car), and 1990 (white STE).

His truck was a 1994, and on several times I overheard him tell his friends that at least his truck was not the oldest there, and he was still better than someone.

Well, that all changed when I got the GREEN car. It is a 1995.

He did not care that it was not running. He heard me move it once, and he heard the engine knocking with his own ears, but he did not like the fact I still had something newer than him.

He and mom were bidding on a house. The trailer they are living in is falling apart.

He called the real estate agent and canceled their bid, and then went and bought a truck.

The icing on the cake is that he does not even like the truck. It is NOT what he wanted.

he bought a chevy, but he wanted to get a dually, long bed, etc. It is the quad cab, but does not have everytthing he wants.

I like my STE, but I am thinking about selling it. It is a normal 3.1, but it is stronger than I thought it would be. It really suprised me the first time I drove it.

What is he, 6 or 7? I haven't played that game isnce I was about that age. I usually have one of the oldest vehicles in the family (I'm refering to daily drivers here), do I care, not really, in fact I'm usually proud of that fact because mine are always modified in some way.

My stepdad has a case of what we call "my penis is bigger than yours"

He tried to get into it with me when they were doing LITEREALLY bigger, but talking trucks.

My uncle bought an F250 extended cab. My cousin bought an F250 QUAD CAB. My stepdad then wanted to go get an F350 QUAD CAB, DUALLY.

He started asking when I was going to get a big truck and I told him I alread had on, and it was bigger than all of theirs. In fact, it was so big that I had to have a CLASS A CDL to drive it.

At the time, I had my 2006 Freightliner Century Class big rig.

I think I said something along the lines of "mine is bigger and more powerful. Lets hook the trucks up bumper to bumper. Your 3 pulling my one. We'll see whos is more powerful."

They left me alone about it after that.

I don't drive rigs anymore, but I still have that CDL.

lol! thats about like my friends 92 caprice.
he though once was'nt good enough (to race) he lost.

so we went not only 2 or 3 or 4...try six.

he thinks cause he has a v8 versus my v6 it could take anything.

oh and my dad thought he could take out my gt too....with his prizm 5-spd, nissan 240sx.

if you do decide to sell the ste too bad i won't be able to buy it

I would like to keep it, but I have 3 cars, and I don't need it.

I LOVE it. It is really different, and when it is clean, it turns heads. I have had people in Grand Prix's flag me down to ask what it was because of the grid on the trunk, and dual exhaust. When I tell them it is the TOURING EDITION, they all get "wow, cool, never knew they did that".

The fact is, I am a big boy. I am 6'1" 270 lbs. I can get into the car really easy, and the seats are SO COMFY, BUT!!!!! I have trouble getting OUT of the car. It is a sedan, so I have to pull myself forward and pull myself out.

I can flop in just fine, but getting out, the B piller is just in the way.

My other 2 cars are both coupes, and I don't have trouble getting out of them. That is the real reason I am selling it. I have issues getting out of it.

3100MPFI, on page 1 and 2 i thought i had your solution but now i am not so sure after reading this page. i was going to say "the ironic thing is you will eventually grow to love them". but seeing that he is your stepdad i am not so sure that is true now. sounds to me like your stepdad is insecure and does not feel like he is "fitting in" the dark lining of your silver cloud is unless your mother is a co-dependant type person she will most likely dump him at some point.
