I've talked to my wife and she is wondering how much work would entail in putting a 1985 4.3L into the 1984 Camaro. I know that it is a 90* but when she pays the bills I kinda gotta do what she wants to have put in.

Is there I way I can get more info on what is needed more in depth from like another site or from somebody who has done the process. My wife is becoming annoying asking questions. Im about to stick a rope in the gas tank, thats the wick, and watch it go boom.A GOOD FRIEND WILL BAIL YOU OUT OF JAIL, BUT A TRUE FRIEND WILL BE SITTING NEXT TO YOU SAYING,"DAMN THAT WAS FUN."

It has been attempted, I only know of one success. He is a member at thirdgen.org, use the search in the V6 forum and type in 4.3. It is asked quite frequently and most guys end up just going with a v8 (same work as 4.3) or 3.4 from a 93-95 Camaro/Firebird that's direct bolt in and you can even use your heads etc if you can only find a short block (what I am doing).
My name is firstfirebird there.
