All the lugs were loose like not even impact tight let alone torqued, we're talking only a couple threads.

Took it back and didn't even get an applology, the fucker say's "that's why we have disclaimer, it happens all the time". The disclaimer reads: that you have to bring your car back in within 100km for a retorque. As if I over ran the 100Kms or something. I straightened him out. Told the fucker, 40 blocks or 7 minutes ain't no 100 Kms. Made him let me watch his guy torque them to 100ft/lbs. I will be watching every time from now on.

I always watch what the guys at Discount Tire do when taking wheels off, or putting wheels on any car I take there. The only thing I don't watch them do is fix flats, break down a tire, mount a tire (boy am I glad I don't watch another guy mount a tire, lol), or balance them. I am not saying I don't trust them because I have had pretty good service from them every time I go there. I just want to make sure things get done right!

The front passenger side one on the 91 wiggled some. The sound it made, I thought the caliper mounting bracket bolt had come loose again. When I took the hub off the car, when I put it on the ground, it split apart. Splitting apart as in the hub part that the lugs goes into came right out of the bearings. Not good, so you had better check that out before you go flying down a mountain side, literally, lol.

Yeah, just to think that came off an Autocross car (90 GTZ)... Luckily it was before it was put into use as such.. (that pic is when we were installing the KONIs and the sport springs)

My 91 GP lasted 17x,xxx miles for both fronts. Rears are still original but i hope to sell the car before I find out what they will do.

How hard is it to replace the hubs? I'm assuming can't be much harder than doin a ball joint or tie rod right?

Remove wheel, brakes, remove spindle nut and push spindle out of hub (3 jaw puller works for me), remove bolts holding hub to knuckle and replace... I don't think I forgot anything, other than the obvious like jacking the car up.
