we can figure out a good price, it's gotta sell, all fuel records (every one!) maint. every bill has been kept, new rack, new wires plugs (last month) lots of new shit, 65,000 miles yestrerday. Loaded except LEATHER, POWER ANTENNA, SUN ROOF, KEYLESS ENTRY. dark charcoal interior (looks new, never used stock floor mats) not a ding or dent or scratch. look up the thred too much to list and its to clean to understand, even the stock sticker on the windshiled about the HUD and even teh tag on the washer bottle from the factory. polished 2-3 times a year and only clay barred once. Ave time of wash and dry (dried the inside of the doors, hood, trunk) about 2 and a half hours to wash the damn thing. I'll send pics asap if needed., later Jay

      Thanks Dave!

$6500? look at a local police auction, you should be able to get a 2001-2002 Impala for around that. A friend of mine got a 2001 (9C1) Impala for around $6,000 with approximately 65,000 miles on it..

It's a w-body, however it does have that evil motor in it with the crank-mounted spare tire

It serves him well, especially since he has to drive alot for work and nearly gets 30 MPG

Thought about a malibu, my girlfriend has one, comfortable, roomy, nice to drive all the good stuff you would expect in a sedan. Quite reliable too, only had to change intake gaskets, tires, an ABS sensor and do the brakes (front pads and rotors only) also needed a tune-up: plugs, wires, and filters. It's a 1998 Malibu LS 3100 V-6 155HP, the 2000-03 3100 Has 170HP. 1997 got bad reviews I would avoid one of those. You should be able to get a '98 or better LS in your budget.

Way less than a grand in maintenace in 3 years, I think that's pretty good. She's put about 70000Kms on it. I know the previous owners bagged it too.

                Happy hunting Good luck!
