sigpicHow to make High performance Emissions:
A "true" High flow converter, straight pipe.
Low/No flow EGR valve, block off plate.
Carbon canister and purge valve mod, place in large 30 Gallon can, cover, and place curbside, the city will do the rest.
PCV valve and vent tube, reroute to exhaust to dump where it belongs, on the ground. Or add breathers and let it all free.Tags: None

i knoiw we get screwed, everywere else in the country has gas around $1/L. gas went up just before easter weekend and it hasnt come down at all.
what realy pisses me off is an area of the lower mainland has an extra 7 1/2 cents extra transit tax on the fuel. now i live just outside this area, but head into there for work every day, and fuel prices are not even 2 center more there, meaning that in my area gas companies are charging the extra and pocketing the money.
exxon reported $39 billion in profit last year. how the hell do they get away with charging what they do for gas when they make that kind of money???

A study has just surfaced today on how canadians are being gouged anywhere from 15-25 cents/litre.
Mind the obscenely long link:
Even if the claims are bogus it does make sense on why american gas is cheaper. There's that 'psychological barrier' at $4/gal that they don't want to go too far over before the whole population openly retaliates.1995 Grand Am SE

Last year when Bush tapped the reserves to relieve the prices, it went down almost $1 per gallon!
OK, slow down and I need to take a deep breath because I HATE politics, but when they affect MY personal life.....

oil companies are in control here not politics ,it just happens that politicians are or want cotrol of the oil production .the reason the u.s doesn't want to release the reserves is just like word says RESERVES and they are afraid to loose them due to uncontroloble demand .and one of the u.s. largest producer "the gulf of mexico" oil production is slowing down in shollow waters forcing oil companies to explore in very deep waters above 5000 ft.and production there is very expensive ,that might also be a reason for a middle east intrest .
but again i could be wrong .i just love to watch the wheels turn around and around

on this gas thing....
I few years ago the gas companies were in some kind of hearing about their huge rise in prices, now correct me if i'm wrong, i only caught part of the news on this, but they said that they had made a mistake and didn't expect to make a $5 billion dollar profit! So if that was a mistake, why haven't the prices come back down?
Next question is, we have more than enough oil on our own soil, why are we buying raghead oil? or mexican oil?sigpicHow to make High performance Emissions:

So when the time comes, tides will turn and they will come to North America for the oil. Let the world spend up the oil everywhere but here, and lets keep paying high prices because soon North America will have the upper hand. In fact North America Quite possibly has more oil than the middle east and Saudi's right now. Yes it is mostly politics at it best and massive profits are made rightnow but just think when the world turns its demand on us, not only will we have enough cash we will have enough reserve to take back all the money that was wasted on importing. I believe the golden age is yet to come however and rarely optimistic outlook an my part.
Interestingly I have still yet to put even one gallon of 3 dollar plus gas in my cavy, even though prices jumped here to 3.15/3.60, I may just bearly have enough to last untill the pipeline here in SD is repaired on Tuesday.Last edited by Juglenaut; 05-12-2007, 12:37 AM.I am back

Right now the run up in gasoline prices is linked to refinery bullshit. Oil is in the low $60's/barrel!! Last time we were paying prices like this for fuel, oil was around $76 per barrel and that contributed to higher prices. This current ramp-up was a result of speculators jacking up the price due to refineries working at less capacity, and our gasoline stockpiles dropped for 13 weeks straight (now increasing some). We still have plenty in reserves but wall st likes to use scare tactics to drive up the price "The sky is FALLING!!!!"Brian
