  • New Exhaust Combo 04 Cobra

    2004 SVT Cobra

    Here it is:

    Mac dual 3 inch exhaust
VRS offroad X pipe (no cats you can see the stock h on the right in the video)

    other mods: JLT CAI

Passenger side muffler pipe on the mac had to be shortened by 1 inch to get it to fit. Other than that fits perfect! Love the sound but the video is kind of bad I'll try to get another soon.

Wow that sounds terrible. Just kidding. IMHO, you cant beat the sound of a modular 4.6. Too bad the performance can be
But hey a Terminator is a bit different Nice car, and nice ET's man.
'93 Sunbird. 5spd, 3.1, it's fast. Oh, and 240k miles has proven lethal against Turbo Talons

I'm lurking occasionaly. It's tough because I'm usually too busy with the Army or my 5.0 Mustang. Which is for sale.

IMHO alot of stuff beats the sound of a 4.6 - like anything that isnt a ford mod motor or 5.0 and has 8 cylinders. - they all sound the same no matter what you do to them.

Wrong. Mod 4.6's and 5.0's have a sound completely different from the rest of the v8 world. A traditional small block chevy sounds COMPLETELY different than the LSx series motors. Same with a gen-II SBC.. sounds completely different. Heck.. even SBF's sound different. The difference in all these motors? Firing order. Every single Generation and Ford's all have different firing orders.

All four bangers sound the same; high pitched, whiny, and like ass. Except surprisingly subaru's boxer motor. They are deep and mean sounding.

Six's, depending if it's a slant/Vee/inline, sound completely different and in most cases sound ballsless and crappy. Except GM's 3.x series motors. They sound fantastic.

Ten cylinders are very laid back and powerfull sounding. Usually kinda quiet.

12's? Loud, ferocious, mean, and depending on the manufactorer, cat-like (ex Ferrari; sounds like a pissed off mountain lion).
