  • Funny PM

I haven't been around in a while. So, today I checked my PM's and I found one from a fellow who needed som advice. He had found an old post of mine from 3 years ago and quoted me. Here is the link to the old post.

Some people just don't think do they?

    Lyle

    His post:

"Pioneer preformance makes a great grafite spray on lubricant."

How long does this last on the pistons? Does it replace the need for Oil? I am looking for a replacement for oil. I would like something that last over 1300 hours, or 40,000 miles. Idon't like paying for an oil change so I do it my self. I don't like having to dispose of the oil and clean it up. Any suggestions?

Although Dry Lubricant wont work. Alot of Synthetics will last that long.

But seriously I can't believe people think that way. How do they even walk if they are that dumb.

True, But you would still have to change your filters on a regular basis. That would be basically an oil change in it's self. Unless you relocated your filter to allow for minimal oil loss.

But the level of intelligence this guy has shown. That would be way beyond his skill level.

You should have told him to use cooking oil because it will soak into all the metal components and permanently lubricate them. Then just spray the valve train with non-stick Pam every 3000 miles.
I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

Yea I agree. I did just than on my S-10. Now I use a full 1 Quart filter. I change the filter every 6000KMS and do the whole oil change every 12,000KMS.

Very nice. Eventually I want to do that with my GP with a filter relocator kit.
