  • The Official Calling Aaron Out Thread

Aaron, you are making WAY too many claims and not backing them up. You claim to have finished headers, yet won't post picturess. You claim to have dynoed 214hp, without proof. This thread is here for you to prove yourself once and for all to us. Either post pictures of your completed headers or post pictures of the 214hp dyno sheet. I don't want to hear excuses about not having a digital camera, becaus I have seen pictures of your car before. Even so, Michael is willing to help you out on this--he will come and take pictures of whatever is needed if you don't supply them yourself. Thank you and have a nice day.

    Dave

I will make a post of my headers in about an hour after my fucking pic hoster makes it fast. they take 5min to upload each. There will be 11 high quality digi pics(beware 56k). They are only the front, I don;t have the back right now, and they look like ass. More details on the soon to be Headers by Aaron thread.

Bringing this thread back to life after some recent events have unfolded....

                1) You made a post on February 7th, here, stating:

                And here stating:

wow. That is all I'm gonna say. wow.
Both of these quotes IMPLY that you have driven the car with your headers.... and I don't know about you, but I sure wouldn't drive my car with ONLY a front header on it!!!

                2) In this thread you post pictures of your front header being done and state "the rear isn't available for pictures". Contrary to what you said before about "test driving" your car with them on, I have to ask then, why did you say this on February 23rd, 16 days AFTER you said the set was done?

OMFG. So I pull the drive axle to where it is almost out, just sticking like 1/2" through the engine mount thingy. Then I try to get it up there. No can do. So I pull all 6 studs, the Knock sensor, both shift cables, and both PS lines. After all this and some crafty manuevering, it goes up. Uh Oh. My #1 primary runs right where the drive axle goes. I thought for sure it would clear, but not even close. the axle would go right through it. SO I took it off and today I have to cut it up and reroute one of the primaries.
How can you drive the car if one of the primaries is in the way of the axle? Did you take it for a spin with only one in?

                3) Michael called Dyno Pro's in Denver and asked them if you had ever dynoed there... Guess what they said. They had never heard of a white Lumina Z34 OR anyone named Aaron Ordway.

                4) I am still waiting on pics of the "214hp" dyno sheet.

Care to explain any of this?

                Dave

I saw that as well and found it pretty amusing that he acted like they were all done when in fact he was still wrestling with the rears. 0wn3d!

Damn Dave you are soooo jealous.....

I kinda like this thread though...

The rear header fit in with the axle, but it ran right up agaist it and stressed it a lot. So I was afraid after driving, racing, etc that the welds might break or damage the pipe. So I chose to reloacte the routing a little to clear it up.

Dave get over it, I am building headers, and they will work.

And the 214hp was done on a desktop dyno out in texas, and it is to the wheels. The guy that did it for me was the same one doing my heads, and he was doing it to see how much he wanted them to flow. he said 214hp, and that was wihout the headers.

My question is..... what KIND of "desktop dyno" are you refering to? I don't know if I'm catching that phrase right, but nobody else picked up on it.... just my $.02 (about all its worth lol)
