God, I know I am asking for this. This is going to be a DOUBLE WAMMY!!!!! I just KNOW IT!!!!!
Anyways. Someone gave me a POKEMON game. It is Pokemon YELLOW Pikachu edition. First of all, I swore I would never buy a Pokemon game, and I still havn't.
It is for gameboy COLOR, so you KNOW it is an older game.
Anyways. I caught a CLEFAIRY and I am trying to level it up. It is going pretty good, and I am getting it close to level 20. It is a tough little sum-bitch, and I am kinda suprised by it.
Anyways. It just learned the move DOUBLE SLAP.
For those of you that don't know, the game play is similar to Final Fantasy, and Mario RPG (for you Larry).
Anyways, I had been playing Mario and Luigi, partners in time, and so I am in the habit of doing the TIMED HITS. What that is is when your charavter is about to hit the enemy, if you press the button it will do greater damage. Also, you can use it to help DODGE attacks.
Anyways, The first couple of enemies that I used doubleslap on, it did the normal slap-slap, wait, slap-slap, then it said "hit the enemy 2 times", then the Ratata took a turn, and etc until the Ratata passed out (I told you my Clefairy was tough. I don't even bother to try to sing them to sleep before attacking anymore).
Well, this is what has me confused.
Out of habit from the mario game, when my Clefairy did the slap-slap, and it made the "WHOMP" sound, I hit the button. I did this for both times the Clefairy attacked. Well. My Clefairy just kept on attacking. Instead of the normal 2 hits, I got 6 out of it.
Now. My question is this. Does all of the things have the timed hits like that, or is the Clefairy a fluke (seeing that who in their right mind would want to play with a Cle-FAIRY). Did they program the little Clefairy to do this only, or will more of them do this? If more will do it, that would be an awesome way of leveling up some of my weaker pokemon FAST (bellsprout comes to mind).
And for my last question.
I keep running into an ABRA, but it is level 7, and most of mine are in the teens, and 20's, so if I try to do anything to STOP IT, it will teleport and run away, of it I DO get a hit in, it either will kill it, or it will run away.
Is there any way to catch an abra, or is it one of those things that is there to piss you off?
Please keep the flaming to a minimum, but I know you want too. Hell. Even I want to flame me for this one.
