check that thing out! I went to single exhaust for weight reduction but I think the flowmaster weighs more than 6 pounds. Anyone hear about these?

all i know is that it sounded like crap on my friend's ecotec 2.0.

well, he said he had one on it, but i dont think he wouldve paid 150 for a muffler...idk.

Does the ecotec need a 2.5" muffler? I don't know but im gonna just guess thats part of the problem.

I was wondering when there would be a design like this though. Creating vacuum at the end of the exhaust will help pull it out of the chambers. Dunno what RPM/flow it would be best with.

I love my flowmaster as well but I haven't heard one of these on a 60V6.

he musta been lying since i doubt he had 2.5" on there but i guess its possible. ill have to ask him for sure what he had. fwiw, a stock 2.0 (LSJ) is going to put down more hp and tq than a stock LQ1.

ben,it'll be nice to know how well a muffler like this performs with the 60v6.the costumer there with the corvette c06 gain 56hp versus yhe borla of only 16hp that is a big diffrence.accoring to what i have read here the best has been 6-8 hp on after market mufflers ,correct me if i'm wrong.that would be a good project ,what you think.
i just love to watch the wheels turn around and around

Sounds similar in design as flowmaster's Hushpower mufflers. Those aren't cheap either.

Well I don't run any mufflers on my truck. I love the sound.

However if this were to truly get me some horsepower I would go for it.
