Vinyl Dye and Carpet

I need some opinions, because I have no experience dealing in either carpet of vinyl dye. What are the best places to go to to get these things?

I found a site that sells the dye and molded carpet... http://www.autostyles.com/ has anyone dealt with them?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

As an auto detailer, i frequently use dyes. I use Auto Magic products. As far as the dyes go anything will work, but be sure to use a good primer before you spray the color. Dont know to much as to where you would find a good carpet mould, but whatever you do dont go gun-ho and dye it. I only dye carpets when i really have to and it usually wears off preety quickly.

Thanks yeah that did help. I'll look up those products... I wasn't planning on dying the carpet, I'd concidered it as a cheaper alternative but I'm going to actually buy black carpet.
