well after blowing up my good motor i bought a junkyard motor that i threw in the car and droped the turbo kit back on.
the motor was supposedly a 100k 3.1 but after further checking its a 2.8 with god knows how many miles
took it to the track to have some fun before i droped the twin turbo motor in,and before my gf gave birth to our daughter which she did this past sunday
a healthy lil girl 8 lbs 1 oz
first pass was mid 15's with 0 burnout and i didnt spool the turbo on the line
reason for this is theres a new rule any car with a non factory power adder the driver must have a firejacket. i didnt have one so i didnt want them to hear the turbo/bov on the line.
second pass i went down to the 1/8 mile track this time i had a jacket,but the track was so slick i could stall the converter on the line without starting to spin the tires.left the line spinning horribly ( dam busted posi) anyways nothing spectacular but here ya go
again this is an internaly stock 2.8 on 5-7 psi with no tunning
only additions are the 24# injectors 4:10 gear converter and an ex cutout
car wieghed in at 3,950 cause of the system and all the crap i had in the car
doing the math on the et/mph/wieght it averages around 290/230 motor/rwhp
