  • What Do You See?

I have to set up this picture. I'm not big on paranormal,....but,...

My younger brother, has been renovating my sisters house. The house is a huge 2 story dwelling, built in the early 1860s, when the railroads were booming in Southern Illinois. It is located 50 yards from the railroad, which has since been relocated. The house is also purported to have been a brothel in the early 1900s, when the coal mines were big in this area.

There was a mining disaster in the Centralia mine, 1/2 mile from where this house is located, in 1947, that claimed 111 lives, that eventually led to the demise of the coal mine. (You can Google this)

    Back to the story....

Steve, my brother, has been working on this house all winter, and most of last year. This photo is one of over a hundred that he has taken for his "scrapbook". My brother is a Minister, so I will guarantee this is not a photoshop. Not that being a Minister makes you incapable of doing that. The picture is taken on the second floor, facing the ex-railroad, and the mine. There was no dust, or smoke in the room. However, it was 7 degrees, so his breath could be a factor?

Make your own decision. Keep your comments civil. It's my family. This is not a web pic. This is the first web post, aside from my families site, the photo has been published. With my brothers permission.

I might agree with the breath opinion, but why are there 2 streams? Was someone else in the room with him?
Tuning a car is full of compromises. You must decide if you are willing to give up either reliability, performance, or a whole load of cash. Also remember that repairs will seem to come up much more often as you strive for even more performance

I also say breath, but still very freaky. Makes you wonder if there was something there that made it take a shape like that.

if it's that close to Centralia, it's probably smoke/fumes coming up from underground, lol. I read up a lot about what happened there.

Is it just me, or does anyone else see 2 faces: 1 small and 1 large? I agree that it is probably just his breath, but that is some cool stuff.

With all the strange shit that has happened to me, I look at the pic, and I get a chill.

There are several people on this site that have seen FIRST HAND the way I can sense things, and I feel something, but I am not sure what. I guess I would have to be there.

Ever since the time when I was thrown against a wall and lifted off the ground by my throat (in front of witnesses, I might add), I have been REALLY sensitive to that kinda shit.

Steve used to hide my bong in my younger days.

Brad, where do you see the second face? I just see the old man with a furrowed brow.

My brother has taken over 50 more pics since this one. None of the results were even close to being like this. Same temp, same location. I agree it's his breath.....but,.....

Maybe I don't see the same guy as you, but here is what I see... Refer to the original pic to look at my outlines (since they take away from the picture).

                            Interesting.

I back up from it... I do see a small face. Not the same one you outlined.

                            I gotta call Steve.

it just got cold in here.....

The more I look at it, the more I see.

                              Damn overactive imagination.
