I am after some upper and lower control arms for an S-10. I went to the local yard here and they want $150 for the set. Well I don't really want to put out that kind of money for this sort of experimental project.

I am going to try and box in the upper and lower arms on my truck along with replacing all the ball joints and bushings. The upper ball joints are going to be extra long ones used to solve the bump camber issues on the S-10.

Now because I am going to be cutting and grinding on these arms and may perhaps screw them op I don't want to spend too much money.

So if any of you have or know of a source I can get cheep control arms that would be great. I dont care if the bushing and ball joints are shot I just need unbent control arms.

Geoff, Pick-up or blazer? 4x2 or 4x4? I have some yards that may be a bit cheeper but I dunno about shipping to the frozen north.

2X4 Blazer or S-10 doesn't matter they are all the same. And it is not frozen where I live

$100 for all 4 here. not that much cheaper.


now there is a place near me that do a $45 all you can carry days but they're done for the year. i think they start back up in the spring some time so you might want to see if someone does that near you.
