Ok, does any body know if 245 45ZR 18's will fit on a 94' GTP? Next question: These are very expensive tires, but I don't want to dump a $2000.00 on tire's that are going to be garbage in less than two years (the idea seems kind of mute). Continental tires were a fair price, are they any good?

They should... I read that someone had 255/45-17's on their Grand Prix without any rubbing problems... but if I were you I'd go with 245/40-18's, I know at least a few people on here have that size without any problems, and that's what I'm gonna go with when I win the lottery.

The only reason I chose that size was because it's the only one that meets the stock diameter.

Yeah it is exactly the right diameter... give or take a millimeter... however you may have problems with rubbing, you might need thin spacers. I know I went to my speed shop near me (Speed Merchant) back when I wanted to get 245/50-17's (which would be the same diameter as yours) and they said I would probably have rubbing problem... and there might even be problems with 245/45-17's, though I doubt there would be.

If I were you, go with 245/40-18's, it's a little smaller diameter, but I don't think the speedo difference is tremendous... you can probably have it recalibrated too.

The speedo will be fine as long as its with in 3% of the stock diamater, according to tirerack. About how the tires will do what kind are they? besides just the brand? There should be a tread rating... that will tell you how long they will last. MY bridgstone Potenzas lasted me a whole year before I had to rotate them, not even actually.

Hey guy's check this rubber out, I found it at Tirerack. Tell me what you think.

These are $194.00 USD a tire, I think they are worth it. The suggested retail in canada for these is like $800.00 a tire. So I'm going to have to support the US on this one.

280 isn't a bad tread wear rating. better then mine were. 220 http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....dex=1&vIndex=0

Thanks, but I've sort of got a thing for goodyear tires, plus the specs are close and these are a little cheaper.

But i bet those Vitoracers wouldn't last nearly as long, or have as awesome traction in wet weather!
