  • New from Maine

    Hey all.

I'm a new guy from Maine. and yes we do have convertables here when there isn't any snow around.

I stumbled across this site while looking for 60V6 mods to do on my Olds CV.

    Little history.

We ordered this Oldsmobile from the factory (Doraville, GA) in 1994 and took delivery on it 4th of July Weekend.

The original selling price was $28,016.00. Yea was a lot of money for the day but it is loaded with just about every option you could get at the time.

My wife and I have owned it since so it is a one owner car.

If you are interested in seeing this beast, you can go to these links that I've put on my server.

I will be pestering you guyz for mod info. I'm really enterested in the powder coat stuff I've seen.

That is a sweet ride. Please don't mod it. Keep her stock.

Just want to do a CAI and Exhaust mod.

As far as the looks go, I prefer the 'sleeper' approach anyway.

      Thanks.

For that car, not any good way for a CAI, not many exhaust mods. Maybe a high flow cat, and a good set of Borlas.

Seriously, as nice as she is, keep her as stock as possible.

Can I ask what options you have to warrant a 28 grand price tag in 94?

          Well..

This is not all of them

Full Leather Interior With Four Buckets and Stearing wheel
          Heads Up Display
          Performance Air Suspension
          Dual Exhaust
AM/FM Stereo Cassette/CD Graphic EQ 8 speaker Bose System
          16 Inch Aluminum Wheels
          Disc Brakes F/R
          Deluxe Trunk Trim
          Floresent Interior Lighting

          Exterior Light Cloisionne Blue

Shipping and destination charges were $525.00

The Price I gave you was the MSRP on the Window Sticker but we didn't pay that much.

I bought it through the Olds Dealership where I had sold cars previously.

This was the 11th Brand New Oldsmobile that we had owned.

We still have three of them:

          1984 Delta 88 Brougham, Sweet Ride 84 K mileage
1976 Olds Cuslass Supreme Colonade Coupe with Rocket V8 350
          and this Cnv.

                It's a 24 Valve 3.4L DOHC V6

I didn't think there were many mods.

I've searched and searched but not much info on this body style.

Most Cutlasses are the Cierra body style.

It is very very tight under the hood.

Search the site. You will find your info.

Be real though. Please don't come here professing a cool car, then dis it by a false MRSP.

                    Hump!

94 Cutlass sold for $16,000. Add $1000 for a ragtop. Add $400 for the LQ1.

And a CD player? In 94'?

By the way yes the CD player sucks. Always skips, always did.
