Just picked up a trade in from work today, will bring it home tomorrow. It's a 1999 Chev Lumina 3100. Base car, really, but should be good enough for me. It's got 153,000 miles on it. One ding in the fender, and the drivers' side rocker sill is starting to show some rust. Need to fix that. Needs a transmission, but it does still drive down the road just fine. Just takes forever to engage reverse, or first, when the shifter is changed. May change the trans fluid and filter first, but I doubt that is the problem. Here's one pic...it's still at work.
I may end up more or less giving the car to my dad...he MAY be needing one soon. Not real sure yet. In the meaning, I'm gonna mess with the DHP PowrTuner software on it, and see what more I can get out of this thing. It will need brakes...the pedal is pretty soft. Gonna replace shoes and pads, and probably bleed the system while I'm in there.
Paid $370 for it, AFTER tax, title, license, and the little ancillary fees. Actual purchase price for the car was $240.
