Is that drier hose and an unbent wire hanger attached to a paper cone filter??????
Tuning a car is full of compromises. You must decide if you are willing to give up either reliability, performance, or a whole load of cash. Also remember that repairs will seem to come up much more often as you strive for even more performance

the only part of what u said thats true is the wire. I ran out of zip ties...
the hose is industrial tubing I bought because it had to be rough enough to route around the engine and trans. You know good and well dryer hose would never last in that situation. The filter is a apc foam joint from advance auto.

That hose looks the exact same as what milzy uses for his cold air intake.

I didnt add chrome to the paper filter. Foam filters are cool, though. Actually, I was running a chrome paper filter on one of my vehicles. But it wasnt a car, it was a 1977 Honda Express (look it up on ebay). Too bad I already sold it
