  • my modded 92 GP SE

Hello everyone! I've been lurkin round here for a while...been a member of ClubGP for a few years as well.

Anyway, here's my GP and a few things i've put it through

The day i actually acquired the car from my parents

    first mod night

    first 'mods'

    after it's first good cleaning

this was wired up so when i opened up the trunk i could SEE inside of it

    original switch setup

engine when i first got the car and cleaned it up slightly

Another of the completely stock car...i JUST found this pic today...

me at my first mod day with the car and engine bay touched up (also CAI added)

next thing was to polish up the plenum a little bit

    got it nicely polished

    another angle

after a good engine bay cleaning

    next mod was visual

    actually installed

    that same summer it's spot was replaced by this;

here you can see the new location (and still current) of the switches

the rear seats were also changed up just a little bit

    stock

    as of last summer

nothin special but it's helped hella good when i'm sittin around bored as hell at school or out travelin or somethin!

new grilles and Blazer foglights (bright as HELL)

FINALLY got my underspoiler back on

did a partial rebuild a few weeks ago
look at the gunk on the rear VC!

    gettin started (plenum/VC's pulled off)

    nice buildup!

    gettin in there

look at the lovely color of the coolant/crap!

    F U rain!

    manifold back on

    fuel rail back on

    almost finished!

i also put on a stainless intake pipe that i've had laying around for a long ass time.

    and also this...

    when i finished up

lol i was playing around with the intake since the hood was off. Looks kinda cool [8D]

and a few pics i took today

    Overall modification listt;
    Aftermarket foglights
rear debadged (sides to be soon)
    rear bucket seat conversion
    screen added
    some woodwork in trunk
    89 GP DIC install
    CAI w/ stainless intake piping
    Mechanical temp/pressure gauges
    Dual HU
    Chip
    high flow muffs
4ga wire all over the place inside engine bay ("Big 3 Upgrade" plus extra)
    Bosch Platinum +4 plugs
    8mm plug wires
two RF P210S4 subs with Punch amp (1100 watts)
broken underspoiler fiberglassed back to one piece
    custom grilles
    180* Tstat
    red touch-up in engine bay
    TB coolant bypass
    EGR bypass (not pictured)
Plenum and valve cover polished (flat areas)
    alternator changed 3381 times
    kick-ass gauge bezel
    oil breather
aluminum/chrome shifter knob with black leather boot (also not pictured)
rebuild (deep cleaned intake/plenum/TB with slight bore, new hoses, alternator, 4ga wire everywhere)

that's all i can think about for now...i'm sure i'll come up with some 5 seconds after i post this

I'll try to get some pics of the subs...the setup isn't the greatest but it gets attention

so you're calling my car rice?

Alright, w/e. At least i know how to work on my car and fix the problems. Wait till this summer when i have cash. I'm limited on what i can do being i'm 17...but towards the end of summer we'll see who's "rice".
Plus my car can't be classified as rice, ever last thing on it is fully functional

i think it looks good, having a contrasting color makes a difference. everyone has a little rice in their diet. i painted a little of the interior of my trans am, i call it "customization". besides if you make your car they way everybody else wanted it, then you probably wouldn't like it.

i could sit there all dang day and never get my aluminum parts to look like that, how long did that take? what did you use? all i can make out is "blue" i cant get the rest.
If you aren't friends with a liar, you aren't friends with anyone.

Heh .. just playing .. if its what you like, then thats all that counts .. Didnt mean to be offensive or nothing, just around here all I see at night times is damn neon lights slammed all over the car.

Its YOUR car and it should be to your liking. I could give two shits less if someone talked bad about my car, Im not here to impress anyone but myself.

On a more serious note, all I got to say is ditch those Bosch plugs and get ACDelcos.

And I believe thats "Blue Magic" he used to shine up the plenum.

So whats the future plans for the 91-93 GP?

Tis the Blue Magic. I used it in combination with NevrDul.
I started sanding with fairly rough sandpaper, then worked my way up. Finally when it was really smooth, i worked the crap out of it with the polishes and shop wrags

It's all good. My bud and i make fun of eachothers cars all the time :P Sorry if it sounds like i got pissed off. Was kinda in a hurry to post then get back to work.
As far as plans...i'm actually TRYING to keep it on the DL. But LOTS of internal work. I've got a few pieces laying around (well mainly one large piece) that i'll be putting in this summer

As far as appearance goes this summer, i'm aiming for a brand new paint job, and some rims. Depends if i get the engine done first
