the adjuster thinggy, on the GPs (older ones) its under the wiper switch i think, but on the cutties they slapped it in the center console. dont cut the cable, just the wires. feed the cable down. it unclips from the bracket up top

i have a whole Cutty HUD for sale, just make me an offer, im in AB canada. -u pay shipping, i paid $20 for it.

Thanks for the info. I should be able to get it for the same price or better yet......free. I know the owner of the yard. I'll have to convince him to let me pull it from a good dash. I'm thinking that he won't, but I'll work on him.

if the dashpad is good, i would take that too. cutting a hole in it is a pain in the ass (especially when your ride ISNT made for HUD) lol did luminas get ANYTHING cool other than the LQ1 and a center console?? ive yet to see a 2 door with power mirrors!!!

I know it wouldn't be easy, but how easy would it be to wire it in my car? Don't they work off of the computer? Not to sound like an idiot, but when it comes to anything electrical......

all but like one or two of the wires off of the older HUDs can be gotten from the Cluster. some people have told me that you cant get the speedo there, but i did. there were two dark green wires! i just had to make sure i had the right one. basically you get a pinout that has the plug for the cluster labeled and colour codes, so you just look for the letter or number on the plug and wiggle the colour of wire where ur gonna connect it and make sure ya got the right one. i didnt TEST a single wire. hooked em ALL up blind and tested it after with 100% results. the wiring is the easier part. lol
