Dave doesn't like cars with color or "rice".. he likes them mofia style

Any bodies in that big trunk of yours?

Also theres no pics of your interior there Dave.. is it as plain and ugly as other Lumina Z34s? Grand Prixs OWN as far as the interior looks. Cuttys are nice too

Dyk, where'd ya get the seats from? I like, but I think they'd have been better in gray... or if the rest of the interior was black.

late 80's Grand Prix DIC into 93 Lumina Z34 = RICE

Dave (dykz34) - I do really like your shiney dash, and I assume you painted it.. what kind of paint did you use??
I love the seats too, they look great.

last word about the stickers - Dave (Gearhead) has a ton of them, but he also has a ton of trophies!

Only sticker I have on my car is FDP Performance, which is clear red plastic one on my rear side windows and they match my black/red theme.
I wanted to put a big PONTIAC decal on my windshield, however my windsheild has that dark blue tint at the top so it wouldn't work It found its way onto my sister's Sunfire.

This post has become very fun! Time for you guys to pick on me now!

nah! having controls on your steering wheel that are supposed to control the radio and arent' hooked up is rice.... especially when the buttons didn't originally come in the car...

Gearhead said that those steering wheels were an option in 88 .. whether hes right or not I do not know. I have the whole steering column so all the guts are in there if I do decide to make it functional. I have a Kenwood MP3 Cd deck, and it would be cool to get the aftermarket thing that makes those steering wheel buttons work on it... only problem (just like everyone else) is I need more $$$

                          It's for now!

Ummmm Well I installed the set in my GP. It works.. But becuase I installed it, I had to figure out HOW it works... And there is NO hook up... That's right..No hookup.. no wires from the buttons to the radio... Yup. It's a fiber optics disc that GM used with InraRred control.

Customandsound, is your car the color they used in 99-01 Grand Ams? My roomie has a 99 GT and its that color with those wheels. The yellow is definatly bright, but i kinda like it under the hood. I personally dont like the yellow gas door, stickers and honda wing, but thats me. I am not crazy about the wheels on the GP, they dont look big enough, but they aren't horrible.

Zykz34, you interior is just a mixed bag of the w-bodies, now all you need is something from a regal. I like the seats, they are much better than the lumina seats. I also like how you added the DIC and GP console.

I am now the 4th Dave to post here, ok just had to make an announcement

I've got that disc and everything should be in the column.. I just gotta get the lights on the wheel working and eventually get that aftermarket thing so its functional with my CD player. Besides, nobody would know that the wheel was from a different car anyways. Its from a Grand Prix.. not a Chevy, Buick, Olds....

Heres my old wheel.. you now know why I wanted to get rid of the ghetto look:
(pic is old, still has my factory stereo in it!)
