My new project.

[3100 MPFI]

This is my new project. It is a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix SE Mary Kay Edition. It's TECHNICALLY my moms car, but as soon as she gets another one (hopefully before next year), this one goes to me. For now, all I am doing is getting it back into shape. My only real plans are the VIN J intake (newer 3100 intake with the larger ports). I will put that in when I do the lower intake gaskets (which are leaking). The oil pump drive (which is leaking), and a 56mm throttle body.

For the interior, I put the door lights in (it had the reflectors), and I put in a leather steering wheel with steering wheel controls. I also have a HUD for it, but I need the dash cover, and dimmer switch. I also want to convert it to floor shift, and I will be putting in keyless entry next week.

Here are some pictures. Just so you know, the car is PINK. I also plan on keeping it that way (who would ever suspect that a PINK Mary Kay car could move). I will do more to the engine after the car is in my name.

This is the gayest project evar!!1 hahaha, i think its pretty fuckin cool, just cause its a mary kay car and no one in their right mind would expect anything more than it to be stock. The pink is truly non instigating. You gonna join girly girlz racing? How could they deny the pink grand prix!

That steering wheel matches good in there boy howdy. Thats not a solid front bench is it? !!!!!!!

It is a split bench. The bench part is attached to the drivers side. I think that I want to keep the square back seats. I think that I will just get a PASSENGER seat bottom, and put it in the drivers side, then just switch out the backs (I might have to weld it, but my dad has a welder, so it will not be a problem. Maybe get a POWER drivers seat, and switch the seatback, and lower cushion. Should work in theory.

I don't know what I want to do to the engine. I don't plan on doing anything major until it is mine anyways (or my mom has a more reliabe car to drive while this is off the road).

Iam VERY lucky that this car runs. I had to tell my mom not to let my dad work on the car. He seems to break a lot of things.

that's not so bad. my g/f wants me to paint her new cutalss pink with pokadots. i'm like... um... no... that's QUITE alright.....LOL
