Yeah, I see $300 range for that paint. Seems like you got a great deal.

And wow on the $600/gal paint! Hope it looks great.

I did some 2500 wet sand on the front hood and panels. Sealer isn't naturally glossy but I was able to get a nice reflection. Feels smoother then it looks. I think this is the final prep round before color. Haven't been able to do much more though in the last few days. Moving my family into a nice, big home.

It even has a water softener and ionic filter for the whole house water supply. Really nice clean water which is great living near the burgh and their crappy hard water. 4beds, 2.5 bath, 4 floors (finished basement), new kitchen, new hardwood floors, working fireplace (rare in pittsburgh area), full on security system w/ a 2-3 min response time.

I may be sore, but I can say....Life is GOOD!

Kids are so excited, so is the wife. Which makes me happy. Definitely a step up, maybe two steps up.

Make sure you get the prep where you want it, cause when you lay down the paint, itll show any inperfections. 2500 is pretty fine so you should be pretty good.

and yeah that DuPont paint went down awesome, just like glass. Reason it was so expensive is there's so much pearl in the paint. Well one of the reasons it was expensive lol

Yes, prep IS that important. Can't hide anything with this paint....nothing!

          You must be going black.

I read a comment on YouTube while looking up videos to help with my engine bay (this one was how to polish black)... "Black isn't a color, it's a full time job!" I had to give that one a thumbs up, lol.
