Yes he is talking about the head gaskets. At my work it is common to see two or three a week in the shop.
I am surprised about how many head gaskets you guys are doing though. I've seen very few on the 3.5/3.9 but a ton on the 3.6..You may or may not know 10 times what i do.

V6 3.9L head gaskets oil leak 170k
3.9L V6 170k miles with Right (back rear) head gasket leaking oil a bit... sucks.. All fluids clear and no overheating.
1) Whats typical labor hours needed to do that?
2) The front part of the engine is bone dry... Shall both head gaskets be done at the same time or one leaking side only?
3) What else would u recommend to replace/reseal/adjust along with it?
/// Should I leave it alone and drive until it gets worse..?
Thanks.

Sorry about this horrible update, but I was in Jamaica on a holiday. back home now and still working on the car :
It's a throttle cable braket for my LS1 75mm TB. Works perfect and looks OK I suppose.
Fits perfect !
I am done all the intercooler pipes, but didn't get a pic of that. I really have to find my camera or purchase a new one.
I'll get better pics for the next update.11.92 @ 122 MPH 3400 91 Cavalier Z24 Intercooled S/C. -totalled-

All good, got a little side project I'm working on for when I "upgrade" to a VVT engine, and I need some "mock up" parts...

OK, small update again.
I picked up a used 3.45 Borg warner rear end. Slightly lower then the 3.27 gear I have now, hopefully helps launch.
Going to be doing the following to it, I have all the parts, cept the spool :
-Full drag spool from Australia.
-TA performace rear girdle cover
-ARP carrier bearing studs
-Extended wheel studs
-Spohn LCARB's
Still 2000$ cheaper then a fabircated 9" rear. Should hold to my power level. (should)
I got the driver's side hotside mostly done, using a 3.9 manifold for cheap reliability and simplicity. Going to keep both banks seperate like the old setup for twinscroll. 38mm gates again, these are CHEAP EMUSA gates and they are awsome for the money. Highly recommend them. I can't see this being much much worse than a header. Hell LSX people make 1000HP on truck manifolds, so, this should be OK.
Pic of completed intake charge piping.
