so Jon..... i don't remember the neighborhood that well when i was down there, but is the whole immediate area like that or are they the exceptions?

They are the exception. My neighborhood is mainly middle aged-older people, which is why I think they think our area was a wise target. Our neighbors beside us (the good ones) were the youngest couple here before the people behind us moved in, and I believe they are in their mid-late 20's. But yeah, as a whole, this is a quiet area. About the only time you see more than the normal amount of cars at a house is for a family get-together or a graduation party or the like. Not a party party like what was going on behind us. I guess they tore the house up pretty good during their stay there as well. They also let the electric get shut off and were renting out the one detached garage to a small landscaping place. The last time someone tried to get into our house they ended up having the police out at their house so he could report a theft. Turns out they had an argument and the girlfriend moved his gun, so when he couldn't find it he thought it was stolen. That kinda tells you right there what kind of guy he must be, as well as what kind of company he keeps. I'm just glad to be rid of them...

Guns are a lot like a wife, keep one around long enough and you are going to want to shoot it!

Lol, that reminds me of a bumper sticker I saw a while back.

Difference between a gun and a wife.......you can trade in your old 45 for a new 22.

Almost hit the temperature range for my Eastwood Extreme Chassis Black primer and satin paint today. Borrowed a pressure washer and cleaned the subframe and control arms, none the less. That's about the gist of the current work on the car. Had a week off last month after two fridays off, have a week off for turkey day this month, and 3 weeks for xmas... so yeah, things are slowing to a crawl. Also my wife's brother died in a car wreck on Monday and she's in Muncie right now getting ready for the funeral (thoughts and prayers would be most appreciated). She's probably going to have to pay for a good portion of it since most of her family don't have much money right now, and with her only working 2 days a week in a hospital, that's going to put us in a pinch this winter, especially after buying her truck. Hopefully we don't hit another recession since Mr O got back in office again and I can "finish" the car this spring...

Ah man, sorry about your families loss. Must be hard for you to see your life long partner hurt and not be able to shield her from it. So close to the holidays too. Did he have children, a wife? Either way, I'll pray for your family.

I didn't really know him, but I know he wasn't married and did not have any kids. Thank you.

Thank you guys very much. Hope your turkey day went well

So here it is Black Friday... a day I stay home. I'm in the process of fixing my air dam with black ABS pipe glue (like what I use at work) since most all plastic panels are made of ABS plastic. Meanwhile, Dale is rocking the buffing and polishing process, so here's my version of black Friday so far (just sanded and buffed so far, no polishing)...
