  • Previous member back in the 60 Degree V6 game...

Most of you probably don't know or remember me, most of the people I knew at one time are probably long gone.

Anyhow I was a member here many moons ago, before it was even 60DegreeV6.com. I left sometime in late 2002 and moved on with cars and life in general.

Fast forward to today and I now have a 2009 Pontiac G8. Its loaded with everything but the GT package (Has Premium sounds, leather, etc). It has the 3.6 DOHC VVT V6 motor which seems to be a good running motor for what it is. Its my first DOHC and VVT motor so this is a little different for me. Its only got 17,000 miles on it and its still covered under the 5/100,000 GM warranty in case anything major happens, after that its all me. I don't really plan on modding it at all. Since I have an HP Tuner Pro I may mess with the computer a little and maybe throw in a CAI other than that, its a daily driver. I have other toys to play with like my GTO and Trailblazer SS (See Sig)

Here are a few pics of the G8...

    See ya guys around...

There are still a few of us around who remember you. Definitely been a long time, though! That is a nice looking car. My wife wrecked her Camry a few weeks back, and there is an 08 G8 around here, with the 3.6L that I've been keeping my eye on. Its a little more than I want to spend right now, so I'm continuing to watch it to see if the price drops any. Anyway, welcome back!

I think you'll like the G8 Brad if you end up getting it. I drive 50 miles round trip daily and its a very comfy enjoyable car. Currently have a free trail of XM too, too cheap to actually buy a subscription though. :-)

            Heres my toy, 2005 GTO.....

Only have a few things done, stock LS2 long block, Varram CAI, Long Tube headers 1/7/8" x 3", Full Mandrel Bent Exhaust, EDC SSXL Cam, Lunati Link Bar Lifters, FTI 3800 Stall thats about it. Can't wait to put heads and a Fast 102 intake on it. But for now, i'm planning my rear end build so I can take her down the 1/4 mile.
