Hi all,
My name is Chuck, from the downriver area of Mich.
56 yr. old Med/ret electrician. In "combined" skilled trades since 1978. The last factory I worked was Federal Mogul-then Borg Warner-then G.K.N. Sinter metals (all the same plant).
I was one of the many maintenance guys, that kept the presses and grinders running----that produced Powdered metal con-rods (trans parts also)
Enuff of that crap

I'm a member of a few tool boards, and when I asked about a possible motor swap for this 3100 (97 Malibu)


Bottom end is clean


I was directed here

I'm looking for a later model year motor possibly 3400, and would like suggestions as to the proper board to post my questions in?

what you're asking to do had been done many times before, so you may not even need to ask any specific questions if you dig through enough threads.
