Joshua on the Fiero forum is already in the lower 13s with an air driven 3900. My Fieros have never been quiet with a turbo and no muffler. It works on the rear wheel drive cars because of about 10' of exhaust pipe.

Yeah it's just N/A. I don't plan on adding any more power. I may mess with the suspension and brakes a bit.
I do plan on daily driving it though. Once tuned it should be fine. Will idle a little high, but whatever. Should run on 87 octane.
It's a manual trans so, you can always go lumpy on the cam and not worry about a super high stall converter. You just gotta learn to drive it a bit more. Still likely makes more torque than most 4 cylinders off idle.11.92 @ 122 MPH 3400 91 Cavalier Z24 Intercooled S/C. -totalled-

The main thing thing I'm tired of with my Fiero is the suspension. It just feels sloppy. And I don't feel like forking out a bunch of money for Konis. I tried KYB shocks up front and they just felt like stock replacements to me. Also tried the rear sway bar and cut the springs. The sway bar and cut springs did improve the handling a bit. Also with a daily driver the manual steering and small gas tank gets annoying after a while. That being said, I do get 28ish MPG with the 4-speed and it's one of the faster street cars at the local 1/16 mile track.'89 Firebird, 3500 Turbo, T56, 9-bolt/4.11

Ya the small gastank sucks. My mileage with the large cam isn't the best... I almost feel like putting a stock 3500 into it and running it like that with good mileage and decent power. Camaro has priority though. haha Fiero is totally neglected.11.92 @ 122 MPH 3400 91 Cavalier Z24 Intercooled S/C. -totalled-

After blowing up my 3400, the Fiero is back on the road with a smaller cam and a 3500 now. WOT Street Strip Turbo cam. This is just the old motor out of my Camaro cause it's getting a LZ9. I was able to get it to idle at 850, and it idles really well. I have to re-do the tune now as it seems to be lean at low RPM. I'll try to re-dyno it in the spring. Last time it made 214/225. I think it'll pick up 25HP from the increase in displacement / better heads. We'll see.11.92 @ 122 MPH 3400 91 Cavalier Z24 Intercooled S/C. -totalled-

Ok well the tune is re-done and this car is making power. I'll dyno it soon, but I'm expecting good numbers, I'd guess it's 240+ WHP. It runs WAY stronger then it did before. It would run 13's without a doubt. I can break the tires loose in first and second with a roll on. Which is awsome for a mid engine car.
Only have one nagging issue with the tune.
Decel bucking. If I'm doing 30MPH and downshift to second slowing down for a light, it'll decel smooth till it hist 2000RPM, there, it'll buck about 5 times, the whole car bucks, then it settles and keeps decelerating smoothly.
Real pain in the ass.
Any suggestions ? Anyone wanna share a good 3500 w/ 00+ 3400 injecotrs and FPR tune ?11.92 @ 122 MPH 3400 91 Cavalier Z24 Intercooled S/C. -totalled-
