  • Noob here with a 3.4L crate motor

Hello people's! I'm Adam and I'm not sure if I belong on this forum with my 1980 MGB LE and a new crate being swapped in. But I'm sure I'll have questions for you guys so let me know if you'd like some pictures of this little build going on. I'm not new to swapping motors, but not GM and never a carb. So you guys will be a ton of help. I know to search first, always been a forum fan.

    Fully restored 1980 MGB
    3.4L 60 degree.
Converted to Holly 390 cfm carburetor

Just finished a rebuilt harness, just 2 or 3 wires left and then prime engine. Almost there!

    Welcome to the site

    Pics, pics, pics! lol.

As a matter of fact, vehicle platform does not matter to be a part of this site, it's all about the engines

Ok, here ya guys go. Some of the relays on the side are still not bolted up and you'll see a couple loose ends here and there. But really all thats left is to also put the Carb on and plug wires, ect....

                  Nice ride!
Tight squeeze in that engine bay, like my Chevette.

"It's your car. Do with it what you wish, but as you enter this unknown world you will need to invent the wheel all over again. For the adventurous and those that are backyard mechanics who have nothing but time you might like this. Most have plenty of frustrating moments and the process usually takes significantly longer then what anyone could imagine. The end result of this conversion is completely up to you." - Jon McCullough of BMCautos.com
