Hi all, I'm Dave, and I've been a longtime member here but haven't posted much lately. Been working more on the 90° Buick motors lately. Pretty much everywhere else on the Internet I'm known by the screen name turbokinetic.
BUT... This week I did a 60° project I'll post a thread on in the performance section.
I'm an offshore / marine diesel engine mechanic for a Cat Marine Power service company. I work on engines in oil rigs and ships in Gulf of Mexico, and internationally.
I'm a regular at a-body.net, having 6 GM A-body cars.
Two of them have the 60°V6 engine. I have an 86 Buick Century T-Type with an iron-head fuel injected 3.1 transplanted into it. It has been turbocharged and intercooled. It will make 13 PSI boost.
My recent project is a 1988 Olds Ciera XC. It is a 90th anniversary edition Olds. I found it at a junkyard and saved it. They were using it to haul parts around the yard.
This car has the Gen II 2.8 MPFI engine. I just installed a turbo system on this car and am in the tuning phase.
Anyway I'm going to post a thread on the Ciera XC shortly.
