can someone help me??? i'm replacing the head gaskets on my 93' 3.4dohc GP. i got it all apart(bagged and tagged for the most part) now i'm puttin it back 2gether, but i mixed the order up in which the lifter caps came off cuz i was confused on how to use the lifter hold down hoses!!! does it matter wut order the lifter caps go back on??? the way i understood it, putting them back on in the order in which they came off was wut i was suppose 2do, because of the wear on them??!!! but since i screwed up the order idk? they all look a lil differant when i took a good look at 'em 2day, but idk? i may jus be delerious???

I've had mine fall out of the cam carriers when I was pulling them off so there was no way I got them in the same spots they came in. I put it back together (obviously with them not in the same bores) and it was fine years later with lots of revs to 7k, so you should be fine. They aren't like the flat tappets of the old days where it's pretty much critical.

      Btw, welcome to the site
