For the adventurous and those that are backyard mechanics who have nothing but time you might like this. I'm long overdue with introducing myself.
I've been lurking for the longest time but feel my project is finally worth sharing.
The short-term goal is to wire up the Camaro's PCM so I can put some miles on the car.
Long-term goals are to swap in an S-10 posi rear end and 3500 top end but I need to finish what's on my plate first.

      TechRod lives!
First start-up of my 1981 Chevette with 3.4L/4L60E swapped from a 1994 Camaro.

NSFW language, my best friend was truly jazzed at hearing it run the first time.
It sounds great and should be on the road shortly.

Thanks pocket-rocket, it's been years since I did an unusual engine swap, and never with EFI before.
To hear it fire up the first time was an awesome thrill, still feeling it the next day!
Yeah, he's a great friend! He also found the broken wire that's been keeping it from starting
I sure am glad he visited.

TechRod's maiden voyage... to the gas station.
I still have alot of work to do, hood modification, exhaust, and there's still no interior installed yet.

My build has just entered the "working out the bugs" stage.
I need to put my interior together, get the exhaust done, and start working on the body.
I've got a spare hood with a dent in the middle and a ridiculously big fiberglass cowl induction hood scoop to put together temporarily until I can make a slightly more stealth hood.
Oh, and I have a TON of wiring to do.
After the car's standard wiring is complete all the gizmos go in... my modded Chevette dash with 15" touch screen, carPC, HD radio, amps, speakers, etc.
I've soldered so many wires lately I could probably put out a cigarette with my fingertips.

You going to love smoking other cars with a Chevette? lol

              Interesting sleeper idea.

You should see the looks and crowd that gathered at the busy gas station down the street when I took the car on its maiden voyage for gas. I was there for about 20 minutes chatting with friendly folk that were amazed that it WASN'T a V8, lol.
