Hey ppl, my name is Hunter. Im here to share what knowledge i may have, help others out, and mainly, get some info about how to make my cars go faster. I love a nice torquey motor... im also about havin fun at the track tho, too.... so here they are:
my first vehicle, got it in 2005. a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, came with the 242 CI I6, 42RE trans, and an AWD NP/NV249 t-case. after a few years, i bought a wrecked Grand Cherokee limited that had a 318 V8, 46RH trans, and again (the only one you could get with the V 249 T-case. after a few hours of lookin everything over, i started the swap. imagine a 242-42RE-249 coming out as one unit from a Jeep in the back yard of some kids (my) house.. and a 318-46RH-249 going in as one unit.. baha. neighbors didnt like me when i started it for the first time with open headers. teehee...
in 99 my mom got the 1995 Olds Cutlass Supreme SL... it has the 3.1 V6 (not sure on the letter-number desgnation of the motor or trans, or what gears or anything about it, plz chime in) and is one hell of a tire roastin machine... i havent lost a race with it yet, and that includes a few stratus R/Ts, an impala with the 3.4, etc. i cat believe a motor this small has that much low end grunt, and enough hp to make it throw you back thru 2nd and 3rd..
then there's the Saturn. its a 99, i blew it up during a redline shift into 3rd. i wasnt racig (thank goodness) but it took me almost 2 years to find an acceptable motor, and had a new one swapped in, in a little under 2 hours. it aint a tire roaster, and i want it to have a lil more. it doesnt have any probs keepin up with itself, it by no means falls on itself, but i want more..
the 01 Imp 3.8 LS. i feel it has a lil less low end grunt than the olds does, could this be from torque management? speaking of, i want to disable all 3. the ZJ has a mild shift kit, 6 gear planetaries in the trans, upgraded VB, and very small mods that equal to about 10 extra HP. i am looking to build a 410 stroker for it, so on here my main concern is the Big 3 GM cars i own...

Sry for the novel, here are some vids to make up for it:

Yeah, the 3x00 have good power per size. And there is plenty more power you can get out of a stock 3x00, lots more. Better heads P&P, crank scraper, 1.6 roller rockers, aggressive camshaft, larger throttle, headers, stronger ignition, even turbo (like many here)

Anyways, welcome! This site is packed with posters who have GREAT skills. Just be sure to keep it 60degreeV6 stuff.
