Hello my name is matt. Live in central florida. I have a 05 malibu with a 3.5. I said this was going to be leaving it alone........ yeah ummmm not goingto work. I'm a mechanic by trade so doing the work isn't a problem. I do have a couple of questions?????
1. How do I get around the traction control. I can turn it off, light comes on the cluster, and it still activates the tcs.
2. How evoilved would be a 3.9 swap?
3. Will the cams and headers made for the 3.1 and 3.4 work on my 3.5? I know the cats are located right off the motor? How about remote mounted hi flow cats on true dual exhaust.
I've had a 3.1 baretta 5spd with a rear mounted turbo about 8yrs ago in high school and was thinking of doing the same route but haven't seen any one do one yet.......
