    hello all,

im new here but not new to engine building or tryiing something no one else has, i had and am about to come back in to posession of a '96 v6 camaro so with that heres the ideas,

bored to fit a 4.3 piston
(will i have enough wall thickness not to blow the engine)

Stroking these engines with a stock crank from any of other 60 degree v6's

and jus how much boost are you guys running on stock internals and ignition?

    a 96 camaro would be a 3.8.... which isn't a 60V6...

here's a breakdown of the motor options, at least V6 related...

the 93-94 cars got the 3.4
the early 95 cars got the 3.4
the late ones got the 3.8
all V6 f-cars after that were 3.8 as well
        the new camaro has a 305HP 3.6 60V6

if it is a 96 that came with a 3.4 from the factory, it must be one of a kind...

Welcome to the site either way You know, you could always swap in a 3.4...
