but is what I stated true for GM ECM's?

I still find it odd that the Holley unit relies on a narrow band for a WOT fueling though since they are so inaccurate.

    • i was using my '7730. Commander needs to be tuned.

in $A1 the o2 signal is still used at WOT but only if the AFR is leaner than it's commanded. In my case it saw a horribly lean signal and you can see the integrator rockets up and fattens up the pulsewidth.

If it's richer than commanded then it does nothing.

Sad thing is that it's probably the fastest N/A 60v6 Fbody right now..
HA! It's sad because it's the fastest N/A Fbody. WTF?! I get your point Dave, it's just a funny statement.

        • It isn't really all that surprising tbh, I know of like one or 2 other guys running hybrids, and another that has one in the works, but considering dave has a full on 3500 with ITBs hes at least a step ahead of everyone else I would say, as far as N/A 60/6 f-bodies go.
I probably have one of the fastest N/A iron headed 60/6s though, still on the fence what direction to go in though for more power, just going to leave that up to how much money I have to kick around when I have some to kick around again, but I REALLY want to put a 3.6 DI in it, esp after finding out they only cost about as much as an ls1. Though if I can't manage a 165 swap, Idk that I could manage it. Idk why GM hasn't offered it as a crate motor like they do the ls3, or an aftermarket company offered a standalone ECU that can run, I know the aussies cracked the code on them already though, so possibly they might offer something soon, or be able to do it on a request and the fact it would sell like hotcakes. That motor in a weight reduced 3rd gen would be a bloody rocket, and still handle like it was on rails...
Probably I will get it running as is and leave the motor be while I work on the rest of the car, then worry about more power, cause atm I just want to be able to drive my camaro again, maverick says he sent me the memcals today, so hopefully that fixes her up, just in time for winter...again.

                  • picked up the new WBo2 today, $51 at the parts store. Just need to get it back in, wire up the other o2 and then try to figure out my trans issues and it'll be back on the road.

I had to steal the battery out of it though, the Duralast gold in my truck died and stranded the family and I at Walmart tonight.

                    • Winter sucks.. so to pass the time i bought some new goodies...

Pair of Hooker Aerochambers, X pipe and a Holley harness for my Commander 950 ecu.

I want to clean up the wiring and this harness should do just that.

Did i mention that i only paid $16.50 for each Aerochamber?

I bought display models, all i need to do is pick up some sheet metal, cut out a patch and weld it in. Normally they are about $70 each.

Here is the inside of one...

I'm sure there are more on ebay, this is a good opportunity for anyone to get a badass muffler for very cheap. As long as you can weld it you're good to go.
